Local artist C.J. Calhoun began working with jewelry at an early age, learning at his family's jewelry store in Topeka while growing up. In 2016 he created the IXI Metalworks line as an outlet to chase and hone the creative side of his craft. He designs and creates his pieces of various gold alloys, sterling silver, and gemstones, using methods ranging from 3D modeling and casting, to hand engraving.
