Grant Charpentier

Grant Charpentier first started working with glass at Emporia State University during the spring of 2004. Soon after working with this medium he decided to double major with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education and a Bachelor of fine arts with an emphasis in glass. Much of his art is influenced by the elements of nature and the natural design it creates. He is interested in exploring new forms, techniques, mixed media, color applications, and patterns. Grant blows glass at Rock Cottage Glassworks in Kansas City. In the future he wants to create his own glass studio where he currently lives in Emporia or wherever the road takes him.
