Culling FF - "Duet" - 6" x 6" Framed to 13" x 13" Monotype Archival Reproduction

"'Duet' is one of my early experimentations with monotypes, where one applies water soluble nontoxic paint onto a plexiglass plate in layers with various tools.Each layer is allowed to dry. Then the paint is misted and transferred to a piece of paper that has been soaked in water. When the image is lifted onto the paper, whatever is applied first becomes the top surface of the images. It is fun to see how the layers created unexpected surprises!" - Laurie Culling
