TRIPWARE Japan
Mizunami City, Japan
The name "Tripware" comes from the idea that the pottery leaves the pottery workshop, is used at the dinner table, and then returns after some time has passed.
Pottery clay and pottery stone, which are essential for making ceramics, are limited resources that the Earth has created over a long period of time. In order to continue to use these precious resources carefully, volunteer companies from the Mino ware production area came together to come up with a ceramics recycling system.
By crushing the pottery into small pieces and mixing it with new pottery clay, the pottery that has been fired once can be used again as raw material and revived into new pottery.
The TRIP WARE series is produced using this material.
